Hope Peterson, CEO and Founder of Studio 8 Wellness Center in Atlantic Beach, NC, was selected to participate in the Cartert County Business Roundtable Discussion, sponsored by the Small Business Center and Carteret Community College. The keynote guest of the event was North Carolina Secretary of State, Elaine F. Marshall. Secretary Marshall spoke about her project, Rural RISE NC. Rural RISE is Resources for Innovators, Start-Ups and Entrepreneurs of North Carolina. It is designed to quickly connect small business owners with mentors, business counselors, funding sources, and more—within our communities and beyond.

Hope spoke to the group about the mission of Studio 8 and how it connects women to the resources they need to conquer the challenges of midlife. "Women don't know what they don't know," said Peterson.
